I need help with my treatment for uterine cancer!

Since I am quite weak, I need to pay rent and support myself while I undergo treatment!

Since last year I had been seeking a diagnosis for the pain I had been experiencing. I was being followed by a gynecologist at HFF, because the doctors at the health center always said it was nothing.

Meanwhile, I was experiencing pain, and tests revealed a polyp, which the doctor removed. I felt better for a short time, but I was called back to the HFF (Hospital Fernando Fonseca). In 2025, I underwent every possible and unimaginable test except for one: the PEC (post-exposure prosthesis).

I had the exam at the beginning of January, which finally gave me the terrible diagnosis of invasive carcinoma in the uterus, and with the PEC they saw that there were lymph nodes that prevent me from having surgery; since then I have been undergoing chemotherapy.

I've been suffering a lot from being alone in this. I live in a room; I used to work, but now I can't anymore. Because with each chemotherapy session I'm stuck in bed feeling very unwell.

I received a multi-purpose disability certificate of 60%. I submitted it to social security and they haven't given me a deadline or the amount I will receive. I'm desperate at the thought of being kicked out of my room, because this is the time I need it most.

Therefore, I'm asking for everyone's help because so far I haven't received any response from the government. I call and they just say it's under review.

I already have anxiety issues and all of this is causing me a lot of distress.

I would be grateful to anyone who can donate! Because it's not easy for me to go through all of this alone!

I've been working since I was 9 years old, I took care of my grandparents until they passed away, then my father sold the house and divided the money among my siblings. I had to move to another farm, I went to Salvador and got a job there.

I came to Portugal like all Brazilians, to fight for a better and more dignified life. I came because, due to the violence in Salvador, I started having panic attacks.

When I first arrived here, I always worked, until I couldn't anymore, but now I'm unable to because I'm weak.

I can't do it without help!

I hope that if I can manage it by the end of the month, I'll feel more relieved because I have rent to pay on the 1st of every month.
