I need to regain my independence at work. Unfortunately, I recently suffered a stroke, which caused me to lose my jobs and still affects me physically.

To regain my independence, I decided to build a soundproof studio and classroom where I can not only resume teaching, but also finally record high-quality audio – I have all the equipment, I just lack the space.

The projects are ambitious and blend dozens of albums into a single story, along with books, short stories, and narratives.

There's also a podcast starting up.

By helping me build this infrastructure, you will also be helping me have an independent space where I can develop the content for my master's degree.

I have already made a down payment almost equivalent to the amount I am asking for, which is what I need for the work to be completed.

About the author

My name is Frederico Prazeres, also known as FredMustek. I study Film and Music and I am about to begin a Master's degree in "Education, Artistic Practices and Inclusion".

My training begins at secondary school as a Level IV Audiovisual Technician, and I hold a Bachelor's degree in Cinema, Video, and Multimedia Communication from the Lusófona University of Humanities and Technologies. I have over 14 years of experience teaching Music, Photography, Video, Cinema, and Audiovisuals. I am a certified Trainer of Trainers by the IEFP (Portuguese Employment and Vocational Training Institute), having received the highest possible grade of 5 on my final exam to obtain my CCP (formerly CAP). Currently, I am finishing an online course in Artificial Intelligence. Further down the line, depending on my progress at the Palmela Regional Music Conservatory, I will also pursue a Bachelor's degree in Music, but my most urgent goal is a Master's degree in "Education, Artistic Practices, and Inclusion".

Budget and due dates

Since I'll be using a considerable amount of my backyard to build the room/studio, the cost of materials and labor is approximately €8,000. I've started the first phase, but I need your help to go further. Hence the stated goal, but if I slightly exceed the goal, the surplus will be used to purchase better microphones for the drums and for gifts for the main supporters.

My goal is to secure the necessary funding to complete the project without problems by the end of 2026.
