Contribution for the children of Caritas Diocesana de Aveiro

Charity campaign to purchase a refrigerator, sofa, and other items for the children.

We were challenged to develop a social action project aimed at strengthening the local community and improving their daily lives; something that may seem insignificant to us could represent the WORLD to others!
Therefore, we contacted a first institution, CARITAS Diocesana de Aveiro, which greatly appreciated the initiative and provided us with a list of the most pressing needs at this time:

• 1 two- or three-seater sofa, simple lines, covered in waterproof and washable fabric with a polyester base and PVC cover (school line) for the technology and homework room for the children in care;
• 1 domestic refrigerator, approximately 200 liters
• Clothes for ages 10-14 (3 boys, 2 girls)
• Clothes for boys who wear L/XL
• Mobile diaper changing station

There are many of us at PE Aveiro, and I believe that together we can easily gather a large amount of help for the little ones at the center.

About the author

We at the Horse Cacia Engineering team are developing a solidarity initiative with the aim of bringing more joy to vulnerable children. Through this fundraising campaign, we intend to support a local charity, directly contributing to the realization of activities and the provision of essential goods that can make a difference in the daily lives of these children.

We believe that small actions can generate big impacts, and it is with this spirit that we unite for this cause. With everyone's support, we want to provide moments of happiness, hope, and inclusion, especially on such a significant date as Children's Day. Every contribution, regardless of the amount, will be an important step towards achieving this goal and bringing a smile to those who need it most.

Budget and due dates

This campaign will last until May 25, 2026, with the goal of visiting the institution on June 3, 2026, to make the donations.
