We are a Portuguese lifestyle brand, created for those who believe that growing up doesn't mean becoming a different person.

It means having the courage to become more and more who we already are.

We believe that authenticity is a path.

And sometimes, a simple phrase can arrive at exactly the right moment.

Our first collection is called:

Chapter One — Courage

Inspired by a simple question:

Each t-shirt is produced in Portugal, using premium cotton, with minimalist design and messages that remain relevant long after trends have passed.

We want to create pieces that will last for years.

Not just a station.

I'm Joana Figueiredo . To my friends and those who know me better, I'm Mimi .

For many years I worked in the business world, where I learned the importance of strategy, quality, and building sustainable projects.

But, over time, I began to feel that I wanted to create something different. Something with meaning.

I've always believed that the objects we choose to wear can accompany important moments in our lives. A piece of clothing can be much more than just fabric. It can become a reminder. A symbol. A small gesture of courage.

It was from this conviction that The Becoming Project was born.

Not because the world needs yet another clothing brand.

But because I believe there is still room for brands that put people before products, meaning before marketing, and authenticity before trends.

This project brings together two parts of me: the professional experience I've built up over the years and the desire to create something that can last a lifetime.

But above all, it was born from an immense desire.

After many hours of reading.
Of writing.
For reflection.
Of silence.
Just imagining.
To believe.

It was born from the desire to create a brand that would remind people of something simple, yet essential: who they already are.

I believe that courage rarely arrives in the most important moments.

It all comes down to the small decisions.

In the conversation we postponed.

In the change we want to make.

In the life we choose to build, one day at a time.

If a simple phrase on a t-shirt can remind someone of this at the right moment, then this project will have already fulfilled its purpose.

My dream is not just to build a brand.

It's about creating a place where people return, chapter after chapter.

Because I believe that life is written in the same way that a book is written.
