The Mira Volunteer Firefighters Humanitarian Association aims to raise funds to equip its fire department with modern, innovative personal protective equipment (PPE) suitable for the current demands of operational service. This equipment is essential to ensure greater safety, effectiveness, and responsiveness of the fire department in the various incidents they deal with daily, namely urban and forest fires, accidents, and protection and rescue operations. With this reinforcement of resources, the association will be able to continue protecting the local population, visitors, and support missions requested by civil protection in other municipalities, ensuring a more efficient and safe service for all.
About the author
The Mira Volunteer Firefighters Association (AHBV Mira) has been dedicated to serving the community for 46 years, playing a fundamental role in protecting and rescuing the population of the municipality of Mira and neighboring municipalities. Its activities encompass fighting urban and forest fires, providing pre-hospital care, and transporting non-urgent patients, ensuring a rapid and effective response to the needs of the population. In parallel, it develops various awareness, prevention, and social support actions, promoting safety, solidarity, and community well-being through initiatives with the population, schools, and local institutions.
Budget and due dates
All funds raised will be used to purchase “x” pieces of personal protective equipment (PPE), including protective suits, helmets and face shields, safety footwear, and protective gloves.
We will purchase 20 pairs of safety boots, 20 protective suits, 20 face shields, and 20 pairs of gloves.
