At ArtTitude, we use art to grow, discover, and express who we are. It helps us equip our space with the mirrors we need and create a place where children, young people, and adults can see themselves growing.

There are spaces where we learn the steps. And there are spaces where we also learn to know ourselves.

That's what we want to build with ArtTitude .

ArtTitude was born from the conviction that art can be much more than learning a technique. Through dance, theatre, music and personal development, we want to create experiences where children, young people and adults can explore the body, creativity, emotions, expression and the relationship with themselves and with others.

We are now taking a new step: creating the necessary conditions to develop this work in a space prepared to receive it.

And this is where we need your help.

For dance and movement activities, we need to equip the room with 6 mirrors measuring 150 x 180 cm, with their respective supports . We chose mirrors without glass, suitable for the work we want to develop and which allow us to create a wide area for observation and body work.

The total budget for this equipment is €2,767.50 .

Our campaign aims to raise €3,050 , an amount that will cover the purchase of the mirrors and the fees associated with the crowdfunding platform.

Why mirrors?

Because in bodywork, the mirror is a tool. It allows us to observe posture, alignment, movement, coordination, and progress. But, for us, there is also something symbolic in this choice.

We want ArtTitude to be a place where each person can see themselves beyond the reflected image : recognize their abilities, experiment, make mistakes, create, express themselves, and grow.

Therefore, this campaign is not just about buying six mirrors.

It's about helping us build a space where art can happen and where each person has the freedom to discover what they are capable of.

Every contribution brings us closer to that goal.

We chose a flexible campaign because we believe that every contribution counts. Even if we don't reach the €3,050 goal through this campaign, all the money we actually receive will go towards purchasing the mirrors.

We will continue to seek the remaining amount through our own means, the support of our members, and other fundraising initiatives. We will not give up on the mirrors just because this campaign did not reach 100%.

Therefore, if you decide to support us and want your contribution to reach ArtTitude regardless of whether or not we reach the campaign's total goal, you can choose to make your support unconditional .

And even if you can't contribute financially right now, you can still be a part of this beginning: share this campaign and help us reach more people.

Help us place these mirrors in ArtTitude and create a space where we can, together, watch ourselves grow.

Thank you for being a part of this beginning. 💜

ArtTitude para todos — gerações unidas através da arte e do movimento

About the author

ASAH – Associação Ser Artium Habitus is a non-profit organization, founded in 2019, that believes in art, movement, and personal development as tools for individual and collective growth.

It is from this vision that ArtTitude was born, a project that combines different artistic languages — such as dance, theater, and music — with personal development, creating spaces for learning, expression, creativity, and discovery.

Our mission stems from a simple idea: to contribute to creating healthy adults, starting to develop human skills from an early age , without forgetting that growing and developing is a process that can happen at any age.

We want to create opportunities where children, young people and adults can experiment, learn, connect, get to know their bodies and emotions better, and develop greater awareness of themselves and others.

ASAH is also made up of people who believe that purposeful projects are built in community. Therefore, this campaign is another step in building ArtTitude and an invitation to those who identify with this vision to be a part of it.

Because we believe that art isn't just for creating artists. It can also help create more conscious, confident, creative, and free people. 💜

O nosso primeiro Natal — celebrar, partilhar e construir juntos

Budget and due dates

The budget presented for equipping the ArtTitude space includes:

  • 6 mirrors without glass, measuring 150 x 180 cm: €1,710.00
  • 6 mirror stand brackets: €540.00
  • Subtotal: €2,250.00
  • VAT (23%): €517.50
  • Total equipment cost: €2,767.50

The campaign's goal was set at €3,050 to cover the cost of the equipment and the success fees and payment charges levied by the PPL platform.

The funds raised through this campaign will be used to purchase the mirrors and their respective supports.

Scheduling

We intend to purchase the mirrors as soon as the necessary funding is available , so that they can be integrated into the space and used in ArtTitude's activities.

Because this is a flexible campaign, if the amount received at the end of the campaign is not sufficient to cover the entire purchase, ASAH will continue to seek the missing amount through its own means, the support of its members, and other fundraising initiatives.

All funds received through this campaign will be applied to this goal.

The purchase will be made as soon as the necessary funds are raised to proceed with the order.
