The Algarve Oncology Association is raising funds for the 2027 Solidarity Calendar (500 units), involving the community in supporting breast cancer screening and the construction of Casa Flor das Dunas.

The Algarve Oncology Association (AOA) is a Private Institution of Social Solidarity (IPSS), a non-profit organization of public utility, dedicated to the fight against cancer since 1994.

Our mission is to promote cancer prevention, support cancer patients and their families, and contribute to improving the quality of life for the population of the Algarve region.
Through awareness campaigns, screening, psychosocial support, and rehabilitation, AOA works in an integrated and humane way, seeking to reduce the impact of cancer on the community.

To ensure the continuity of our work, we regularly develop fundraising campaigns and initiatives, which are essential for maintaining our services and implementing new projects.

In 2027, we want to bring a special project to life: the "Solidarity Calendar 2027".

The goal is to produce 500 copies of this calendar, involving the community in an initiative that combines creativity, awareness, and solidarity. To achieve this, we need the community's support to cover the costs of conception, design, production, and printing.

By contributing to this campaign, you will be directly supporting key AOA projects, namely:

  • The renewal of Breast Cancer Screening equipment in the Algarve (in partnership with ULS Algarve);

  • The construction of "Casa Flor das Dunas" is a space designed to temporarily house cancer patients and their families, providing support, comfort, and closeness during treatment.

Every contribution makes a difference and helps us continue to care for, prevent, and save lives. Contribute to this charitable cause. For yourself, for your health, for life!

  • Updated technology that enables more effective, faster treatments with greater preservation of healthy tissues.

Other support services

  • Psycho-oncology consultations;

  • Stoma therapy, physiotherapy and speech therapy;

  • Support with hair and breast prostheses, as well as adapted clothing at cost price;
