Crowdfunding Campaign - Simply for baby. The goal of this campaign is to grow with your help and create a craft and exclusive Portuguese fashion collection for babies from 0 to 6 months.
Simply for baby by Spa tricot is the result of my passion and experience in handmade knitting with natural and ecological fibers.
It is not always easy, despite being a fashion option, find in traditional or online stores ecological clothing for babies produced from natural fibers such as merino wool, cotton and silk and mainly handmade and personalized. Natural fibers, in addition to being ecological, have a special touch, very good.
Then came to me the idea that I could create a line within this concept of clothing for babies, through a business and my Portuguese brand (Spa Tricot) and so be able to offer to the market different and unique pieces. This is the purpose of my project!

All these pieces are made with time and care, looking after every detail, within a minimalist philosophy, but always with that special touch that transmits the tenderness of the babies and makes the difference.
To commercialize my products with my brand, with your financial help, I intend to take the following actions:
Sales through online store.
A space in the new store concept "selfstore".
Partnering with children and babies shops.
Marketing through multi-brand stores.
Participating in Trade shows products for infants and children.
About the author
My name is Mafalda Vasco, creative, craftswoman and manager of this project.
Although my main profession is in the financial area and the training of languages, I always had a special calling to knit and create models, especially for babies. Knitting was and is my relaxing Spa at the end of a working day.
At the request of friends and acquaintances I started to accept orders from these craft sets for babies and the model line grew due to the success they have had. I decided to invest more time in this passion and last year was born Simply for baby.
Right now my desire is to be able to devote myself entirely to this project and I count on your help.
Budget and due dates
Budget: 1,250€
In order to promote this project and expand the range of models and sales, I need your financial support to:
- Buy quality raw materials (natural fibers) = 350.00€
- Record the model and the brand = 150.00€
- Create a catalog with photos = 80.00 €
- Rent a small space (self-store) to display the collection and thus receive more orders and sales (2 months) = 220.00 €
- Buy stickers, bags and other materials to brand image = 50.00 €
- Advertise the catalog through the internet, social networks (raise more likes on Facebook, 2 months) and create online store = 150.00 €
- Participate in a fair of baby products, promote the brand and also perform sales (Kids Time Lisbon) = 250.00 €
