My name is Flávio Torres and I am in the final step of my second album and want to invite you to be a part of it.
I decided to launch this crowdfunding campaign with the goal to gather 900€, which will serve to duplicate CD copies of the upcoming album and to license the music, since all the process of recording/production/mixing/imaging/video has already been done.

About the author
Flávio Torres, musician, composer and songwriter from Covilhã (Portugal). After being part of several projects as composer, songwriter and producer, edited his first solo album in 2012 – “Canções de Bolso” – which has sonorities that range from swing to folk, pop or blues.
Flávio Torres was also the musical director and multi-instrumentalist of the “The Hill Sessions” project. The first volume, edited in 2010, recreated songs of international artists who influenced the 60s and 70s, and featured Portuguese musicians from bands such as a Jigsaw, Dapunksportif, Born a Lion and Tree Valley.
His first solo album, “Canções de Bolso”, is made of 8 songs of an acoustic tendency. There are some promotional videos that can be seen on YouTube.
In “Canções de Bolso” there are reflexes of melancholy or of begging energy whereas words reflect feeling. These songs, written in Portuguese, portray love stories, meetings, departures and unknown paths, experiences and criticism to the actual state of Portugal.
The collection of these songs are evidence of minimal aesthetics (guitars, upright bass and percussions) with the aim to look for a new sound in that area.
In this record the promotion was conducted by national radios, press and broadcasted by RTP International channel (Rádio e Televisão de Portugal – Radio and Television of Portugal) – POP Lusa tv show directed by João Calixto.
