Portuguese shortfilm about a detective who wakes up next to a dead woman with no memory of the night before.
SYNOPSIS
Afonso is a criminal detective who becomes obsessed with a case involving the murder of several women, destroying his personal relationships over time and making him depressed. One morning, he wakes up in a strange hotel room with a dead woman by his side. Desperate and with no memory of the night before, Afonso begins to question the similarities between the crime he investigates and his own actions.
"It is exactly this killer / victim duality that I intend to explore in the film."
RICARDO LEITE is a director born in Azores and currently living in Porto. He is a student at the School of Media Arts and Design, where he debuted as a director with the sci-fi short film Loop (2019), awarded at national and international festivals. Oblívio is his final master's project and his second experience as a director.
