"Os Encobertos" is a short fiction film made by final year students of the Degree in Cinema at Escola Superior de Teatro e Cinema. Given the ambition of this cinematographic project, we need to gather more financial means, in order to ensure the different needs of the production. Any help is welcome to make the project possible! Synopsis:
Vargas is an undercover agent whose mission is to capture a group of robbers. The theft of a jewelry store will be the
ideal time to catch them in the act. However, Vargas's perspective changes after a conversation with Ricardo, one of the
group members, causing him to question his perspective of the enemy and making his mission much more difficult.
Note of Intent:
Towards the end of our course we wanted to challenge ourselves and become a crime film. A film that has the spectator stuck to the screen from beginning to end. The spectator will accompany this group of robbers as they question whether or not they will be caught. The film takes place in two parts, the first in which everyone is in hiding and planning the robbery. The second, the robbery! This moment, filmed in a single shot and in real time, will result in the film's climax. It's a tense scene where the characters race against the clock, with a single goal, to bring home the jewelry. But something goes wrong...
