In November, Marco suffered a fall while training for the National Motocross Championship that left him a paraplegic. Marco needs our help to adapt to his new life and focus on rehabilitation

Marco is 24 years old, is a federated motocross athlete and personal trainer. Friend of his friends, Marco is passionate about the sport and very persistent in the fight for his goals and dreams.

On November 21, 2021, while training Motocross, he suffered a serious fall that left him very weak. This accident resulted in 21 fractures and one spinal cord injury. Marco underwent 2 delicate surgeries and was hospitalized for about 5 months at São José Hospital, Barreiro Hospital and Alcoitão Rehabilitation Center.

Marco is finally back home, with those who wish him well and with a lot of desire to recover.

And it is, in order to provide you with the best conditions that we need everyone's help. In order for the entire amount to be reverted entirely to this cause, it is necessary for supporters to mark it as "unconditional".

We decided to carry out this campaign with the aim of raising funds to improve Marco's quality of life, with the purchase of materials so that he can have a more comfortable and independent life. But also to help finance all the treatments that are needed. Whether they are physiotherapy, which Marco needs on a daily basis, medical appointments and expenses with medicines and other essential pharmacy products.

However, the possibility, if necessary, of going abroad for other treatments is not excluded.

Budget and due dates

The desired amount corresponds to the budget of:

• €15,000 hospital expenses, medical consultations and physiotherapy
• 4000€ wheelchair.
• €6,000 medication and remaining pharmaceutical products
• 5000€ equipment to install indoors (hinged bed, shower chair, bathroom accessories, mattress, etc).

All the remaining amount raised in addition to those described in the previous items will be channeled to the continuation of the treatments and, if necessary, to treatments abroad.
