This Crowdfunding was born from the desire of a group of friends to help, those who are victims of a senseless war that is causing millions of people to flee their lives. 3 friends will embark on this trip to take as many necessary goods as possible and bring at least one family.
It's enough to change a person's life, for it to be worth it.
We count on as much help as possible to make this trip less expensive for those who will face these more than 80 hours for the round trip.
About the author
We are a group of young people who, with the help of some others, managed to get a van to go to Poland. 3 people go on this trip but a group of friends stay behind to help in Portugal. Some companies are part of this process with drug donations so that we can get the help we need right now, as well as individual people who helped us get a van. This idea came from a group of friends who were inspired by other caravans that are happening all over the country.
We are youngsters between 25 and 35 years old, we asked for vacation days and we channeling all our time and energy so that we can take this idea forward.
Budget and due dates
This money will be spent as follows:
Departure from Coimbra scheduled for March 12th.
Departure from Coimbra, Portugal to Warsaw, Poland, the estimated cost of fuel is €349.61 and €133.10 in tolls according to Via Michelin
Departure from Warsaw scheduled for March 16th.
Departure from Warsaw to Coimbra: €349.61 in fuel and €133.10 in tolls.
Ensure meals for 9 people (3 drivers and 6 refugees): 3 meals (trip lasting 30 hours, we expect lunch, dinner and lunch the following day): each meal at an average value of €10.
Round trip: €965.42
Meal for 9 people: around 300€
Total expected expenses: €1256
Note: Any amout left from our fundrasing will be channeled to others caravans in progress. We will send an account report to all supporters.
