Let's let Fiona run

Fiona has severe hip dysplasia. He already has a prosthesis on the right side, now he needs the second prosthesis for a happy and playful life.

Fiona has been part of our family since she was 8 weeks old, she has always been a very playful and sweet dog. Unfortunately, at 9 months she stopped wanting to play, spent the day lying down looking sad and had difficulties walking. Our fear was confirmed with the diagnosis of severe bilateral hip dysplasia. She underwent emergency surgery on her right hip to receive her first prosthesis, which required a huge effort, at a cost of more than €3,500. To which were added the costs of post-operative consultations and travel to lisbon, to Vetoeiras.

Now 1 year and 9 months old, the time has come to operate on the left paw to receive the second hip replacement, which still causes pain and discomfort. The surgery costs around €3500, a very high amount to be able to afford it again, so we are here with a tight heart asking for help, every € can make a difference.

Budget and due dates

The money raised is intended to cover the costs of surgery to place a hip replacement on the left side. The amount of €3500 covers the costs of surgery, hospitalization after surgery and medication. The surgery is scheduled for February and will take place at the VetOeiras clinic.

The €3500 raised includes the value of PPL commissions: €322.88
