Experience the Magic of Coworking

Hercules Coworking Space is a community for creative freelancers and self-employed people.

We have a plan to open a coworking space in Faro, Algarve, where people work, take classes, participate in events and collaborate on projects. We are ready to bring Hercules goodness to Faro on Christmas Eve 2021.

Despite being the capital of the Algarve, Faro can still be a lonely place. Tired of quarantine and isolation, we created the Hercules Coworking Space for freelancers who work in their living rooms or struggle for power outlets in the corner café. Faro has an extremely creative population that deserves a beautiful place to work, teach, learn and meet other people. That's exactly what we've built here and what we're offering to the world.

WHY CROWDFUNDING?
We explore many different avenues for financing, including traditional financing from VCs, investors and banks. But ultimately, these options don't reflect our mission to be independent and free, nor do they value the same things we do: we're building the Hercules Coworking Space because it's part of our life's work - we're not building it to sell it. We believe the power of Hercules resides in the community, so we decided to turn to the crowdfunding platform that supports the aspirations of individual entrepreneurs to get the job done.

Funds secured through our crowdfunding campaign will be used to build our physical space, the most critical component of Hercules Coworking Space.

About the author

Mariana is a fundraising manager, translator, shop owner, entrepreneur and whatnot! She has been working for over 15 years in the business and non-profit sectors across Europe. Most of the time her work is fun and creative, she travels, meets many people and raises funds for different causes. However, the need to go to a physical office is something every freelancer feels sooner or later, as the feeling of belonging to a like-minded crowd is at the heart of every human being.

Looking for a place to work for herself (and not finding it!), Mariana decided to add another portfolio to her entrepreneurial skills and open her own coworking studio and share it with people looking for the same comfort.

Budget and due dates

For Hercules to be born, we need €13,500 to guarantee its existence until members join.

The more money raised now, the more we can do as we plan the new office. It will allow us to create a space that is not only functional and beautiful, but also a vibrant creative business center in the Algarve.

When you participate in this campaign you can help us buy good quality office furniture, pay rent and security deposit, the fastest internet on market, install the sockets where it makes sense, and last, but not least - buy a good coffee espresso machine!
