About the author

The Feminin Choir of Conservatório do Vale do Sousa was founded in September 2007. Currently composed by 25 elements, the Choir performs a multifaceted program, embracing various epochs as well as various musical genres. Although it's recent history and evident joviality, the Choir has gathered the best public reviews. In 2009, after seriation in Conservatório Calouste Gulbenkian the group performed at Centro Cultural de Belém in Lisboa.

In October 2010, won the national music contest, event promoted by Inatel. Participates in various choir meetings, with highlight in the “Festival Internacional de Coros em Albufeira” in 2007, in April 2011 in “10èmes Rencontres Internationales de Choeurs d'Enfants”- France and in 2013 in the Festival Internacional de Música de Cantonigrós- Barcelona.

The Feminin Choir of CVS is directed since it's foundation by the choral director teacher Sílvio Cortez and accompanied by the pianist accompanist teacher Ricardo Fráguas.

Budget and due dates

A participação do Coro Feminino CVS no “Florence International Choir Festival”, acarreta despesas de deslocação, alojamento e alimentação.
