With the name "Clay and Children" presented this project allows us to do both things we love the most: children and our work. We believe that every child should have the opportunity to meet and mix with a raw millenary, such as clay. Until now, this project has been developed in some public schools in the municipality of Santa Maria da Feira successfully with a single price: 1,00 € per child (which includes all the necessary materials and the respective firings).

Our intention is to be able to transmit this knowledge to more children, so we need your help in the acquisition of a new furnace with more capacity, since the current is desired a "reform" and we do not know when will “to decide”.

The idea is simple, fun, creative and educational, to promote and disseminate a craft as it was, is and will be pottery and tiles. Being in contact with the clay, brings a force of nature in its composition through the four elements: water (be cool to model), air (for drying), earth (its existence) and fire (to turn ceramic). We go to meet children in school EB / JI, why is this age who appreciate and enjoy with small opportunities to have new challenges.

What is your money?

Our goal with the money raised is to further develop this activity at the price of € 1.00 by purchasing a new furnace with the capacity, digital timer. We believe that to ensure this price is more affordable and easy to involve the largest number of children. Since we started this project in total 800 children have attended.

The INTENTION is this coming school year 2013/2014 have I form this and so advance with this project, to be possible for all the Portuguese territory. In September, when the school year schedule, we come into contact with schools to presencing the project, some have marked these days, other during the school year.

This Workshop was born by the will to believe in us, in children and in our work. A difficult road that led us to the encounter Ceramics and privilege of living the best moments in our Atelier since its incorporation. Over time our path was traced and traversed by immense situation but now we trust that this will be our future: Clay and Children.

What can us say about?

We are positive, cheerful and optimistic and believe that there is a solution for all. From a young we like to design, produce, invent, whenever we had opportunities we did experience. Now as an adult, it is a privilege to devote - we love what: art and children.

Our training is up to the 12th year of humanities in Spain. Life did establish our residence in Pacos de Brandao. Here we attend many training courses Professional.

Gelimar Trillo: is responsible for the administrative and accounting, experience wins every day in the company where he works. Monitors and decides, Ninoska on all projects submitted in Schools. It is your responsibility to lift your spirits and never forget to believe this project.

Ninoska Trillo: as a trainer aims to present the project in Schools and contacts with future new schools. Formation Workshop on "private" ceramic and CEARTE, always continues to invest in continuing education / renewal in ceramics.
