It is a mini mobile FAB LAB that goes all around. A digital fabrication workshop that travels on a bicycle to schools, institutions, public areas. For a day we will show the "IV Industrial Revolution."

It is to organize and coordinate a mini mobile FAB LAB,  a digital fabrication workshop that goes everywhere. 

The goal is to promote digital manufacturing as a tool to create almost all manufacturing projects and ideas.

We want to promote tools - 3D printer, laser cutting machines, CNC milling machine - allowing try and make projects and build ideas.

During one day, available tools "IV Industrial Revolution." This workshop can be transported by a bicycle, electric car or other means of transport analogue. In addition to the tools, also we took a Science Fair and ROVER (explorer vehicle), so that you learn to program, try science activities and learn more about this new technological world around us!

About the author

The Open Lab is a mini FabLab, a digital fabrication workshop which promotes training in informal and collaborative environment. We support the development of prototyping projects for commercial / business or not.

We have workshop tools and a 3D printer. There is a computer with digital table dedicated to vector drawing, 3D design, photo editing and video. We also have an A3 printer, cutter, laminator, a sewing machine and a workshop bench. All you need for the realization of your projects!

This time've streamlined two formations in 3D and DRONE PRINT. We have two projects for crowdfundig, this mini mobile FAB LAB and an educational game to be used in the classroom, on atoms and the Periodic Table of Chemical Elements. We are developing other: one ROVER and PLOTTER.

We welcome anyone who has ideas and wants to accomplish. In any context, is in final project, stage or as a personal project, investigation or even to develop projects that are already here in LAB Open.

15000 euros - mini mobile FAB LAB: electric bicycle, Science Fair, 3D printer and laser cutting machine (includes first author tour to organize the FAB LAB London);

20,000 euros - mini mobile FAB LAB: electric bicycle, Science Fair, 3D printer and laser cutting machine (includes a first trip to represent Portugal at an event to be held at FAB LAB London);

30000 euros - mini mobile FAB LAB: electric bicycle, Science Fair, 3D printer, laser cutting machine (including a trip to represent Portugal in FAB12 event (meeting of FAB LAB International to be held in Shenzhen, China - https: // vimeo.com/135695295));

    De facto ainda não pensámos na estrutura da bicicleta. Mas as máquinas e as actividades que vamos levar para as visitas estão bem pensadas. Pensamos levar uma tenda insuflável para os sítios onde não houver um espaço fechado. Pesamos em juntar duas bicicletas para ser mais fácil carregar todo o material. Há sempre a possibilidade de conceber o atrelado.
