FITA Artistic Residency: Mikha-ez in Lisbon

Artist Mikha-ez comes to Lisbon for an artist residency and exhibition of his most recent works. Help cover transportation, accommodation, and meals!

Hello! We are FITA – Friends In The Arts , a non-profit cultural institution dedicated to supporting artists and cultural professionals, creating opportunities for decent and sustainable employment in the arts in Portugal and beyond.

We are organizing a very special artist residency for contemporary artist Mikha-ez , who will travel from Gijón, Asturias, Spain, to Lisbon, Portugal, to spend seven days with us. During this period, Mikha-ez will have the space and facilities to create, experiment, and share his artistic process, culminating in an exhibition with artist Jéssica Burrinha at Módulo Twist , an innovative and vibrant space in the heart of the Marvila neighborhood.

For this residency and exhibition to be carried out with all the quality they deserve, we need your support to cover these logistical expenses: transportation, accommodation, food, production, and communication.

The campaign's target is €2,000 and will ensure the artist has the conditions to fully dedicate himself to his work and to cultural exchange with the local artistic community, enriching the cultural landscape of Lisbon and Portugal.

FITA – Friends In The Arts is a non-profit cultural institution founded in 2021, dedicated to connecting talented professionals with internationally renowned institutions, acting as a bridge to the job market and facilitating access to a global network. To support job searches, we created FITA Magazine, an international cultural publication, with the High Patronage of the President of the Portuguese Republic; FITA Kiosk, a music, contemporary art, and poetry festival; FITA Fest, themed parties; FITA Agency, a new talent agency; the International FITA Awards of Literature, which recognize new generation writers; and established the FITA Collection, an accessible and sustainable contemporary art collection.
