Create my own job and store

My name is Maria, I am a professional dressmaker and seamstress, and I enjoy doing it very much. Unfortunately, I have been looking for stable work in other areas for almost 2 years, because my studio is at home, in a one-bedroom apartment that I share with my 4-year-old son. It was 3 years ago that I thought about this project of mine, and I started making custom-made children's clothes, Unique Concept Kids, the concept that each child is unique and genuine, and the pieces made to order are also unique. Later, I started making women's bags and purses, which became my true passion and specialty! Unique Concept Bags. But the difficulty was the same, I could barely survive... and I was never able to invest in a store, and decent and reliable advertising for the public. And even with materials and sewing machines, it is very difficult! Because the materials are expensive, Napa, fabric, etc., and the suppliers do not make it easy for those who buy. The machines I have are domestic, one of which was donated by a friend. but sometimes to sew bags, they should use industrial machines. But my life is very complicated, there is no family support, none, I am unemployed, I receive €400 per month. So, when I heard about this platform I said, why not? I have nothing to lose! I have talent, I know how to make an article that I know is sellable and from the little that I have shared on Facebook on my page, it has been very well received and has had a lot of impact.

I want to rent a store, atelier and a school, because it will be to manufacture and display the pieces, but also to teach creative sewing, which is in great demand! It would be a solution for me, and I would certainly be able to help other people who want to learn! I would also have to buy machines and materials for the establishment. About me, because in my life, in 47 years, I would have a lot to tell, maybe even write a book, but basically, I translate my life in a few words: struggle, resilience and will to live. From an early age, I faced many difficulties, a broken family, I was orphaned by both parents at the age of 13, I suffered a lot in a 16-year marriage of violence, I lost a son, I managed to get out of this situation but I fell into serious depression, treatments etc... nothing made sense, I left Lisbon, came to Algarve, I found the will to live again when at the age of 43, I became pregnant with my son, it was as if someone was telling me that I could still be happy and start living again, leaving the past behind... I worked here in Algarve but with the pregnancy they gave me a high-risk pregnancy leave and I stopped working. My son was born beautiful and perfect and cured all my ills. I left all the depressant medications behind, nothing, I just need him☺️But unfortunately my son has not had a place in preschool or daycare until now, at 4 years old, and all the difficulties have been increasing, and the unemployment benefit has decreased because the normal period of allocation has passed... In the meantime, I discovered sewing and crafts, I got 2 sewing machines and I work from home, but the income is practically zero, because I also cannot invest in advertising since I do not have a store... My son started preschool this year, but unfortunately and despite many CVs sent for job offers, nothing has appeared yet. I teach classes at home in introductory sewing and creative sewing, I have 4 students and I make the bags that I try to sell, but I really believe that a store/atelier, where I could do my work and give classes, could really make a difference. That is why I, the promoter, am a fighter, resilient, I love learning and teaching what I know, hopeful and patient. I think and I really believe that I can do it difference, and also contribute to society with my project, with your support and sharing, thank you for your attention

Budget and due dates
