The Psychotherapeutic Holiday Camp, exclusive to APDJ - “Supera-te” - is an experience that leaves its mark.
As part of our work in psychological intervention, we have found it increasingly essential to reinforce/develop personal, social and emotional skills in the children we work with on a daily basis, in school or private settings, so that they can grow in a healthy way. The summer holidays, due to their length, are usually a period in which these children and young people are on “standby” and, for this reason, a period that can be used and partly dedicated to much-needed personal development.
The purpose of "Supera-te" is to maintain continuity with the psychological support that young people already receive and to enhance their potential for improvement in their difficulties, thus having a strong therapeutic component. We also intend to involve those young people who, although they do not have psychological support, could benefit from this personal development work. This aspect is innovative in that it puts knowledge from the area of Psychology at the service of entertainment, allowing us to create a range of experiences that, in addition to being fun, have specific objectives aimed at personal growth.
In the specific case of “Supera-te”, we aim to promote the development of self-esteem and self-confidence, social relationship skills, management skills and emotional expression.
Challenge: A week of closed-loop activities (Monday to Saturday, 24 hours a day at our disposal!)
Ages: 10-15 years
Planned activities: Recreational activities, beach, psychotherapeutic activities, group dynamics focused on the development of specific skills and moments of reflection and introspection integrating the entire experience.
Our target population suffers from great socioeconomic deprivation and, for this reason, we turn to all of you in the hope of being able to count on your sponsorship so that children who are unable to participate due to lack of financial resources can do so!
