My name is Cecilia and I am 32 years old.
At the beginning of 2021, my boyfriend and I decided that it was the right time in our lives to be parents and so we went to a consultation, had tests and everything was fine with us, so we started our attempts.

Unfortunately, 1 year later (2022) we still hadn't achieved our dream, we went to the doctor again and were referred to the public hospital for PMA treatments, where we were very well treated and they were super attentive to us.
We did some specific tests again and then discovered that our failure was due to the fact that I had Endometriosis.
It was a shock for us, especially for me :(

Endometriosis is a chronic disease, which apparently affects around 10% of women and which causes, in addition to infertility, a lot of pain during menstruation, among other symptoms. I've never had any major symptoms, other than menstrual pain and I always thought it was normal, but apparently it's not :(
I was referred for surgery (I waited 8 months), as the waiting lists in public hospitals are huge, where they removed all the endometriosis spots they could find and also removed one of my tubes as it was already in a very bad condition!
In March 2023, we were sent to undergo IVF (in vitro fertilization) treatment, to try to have our much-desired positive results. We were very happy to have an opportunity, of course, but unfortunately the waiting time is 1 year in the public service and for the private service the costs are very high and we don't have that money, unfortunately.
We went to several private clinics and the prices were very high and we had already created a PPL, but unfortunately we didn't get the necessary amount and the money we got with help went to pay for consultations at the clinics and medication.
We started our attempt at the public hospital this year 2024 in February, where we did not progress past the ovarian stimulation phase as my body did not respond to the medications and we then tried again in March, with a different medication.
We only got 3 oocytes, 1 of which we lost on the first day after the puncture, the second was not viable as 2 sperm entered and we only had 1 D3 embryo which was the one transferred to us. Unfortunately that little drunk wasn't strong enough and we ended up losing :(
At the moment we are once again in last place on the public hospital waiting list, which means that it will be another 1 year of waiting and we are once again considering trying in a private clinic.
We would love for you to help us make our dream come true and return to positive hope in life!
We are very hard-working people, and unfortunately, like many people, we want to be parents and are not being able to do so, all your help will be welcome and we thank you with all our hearts, may God be in your hearts.

In 2022, I was diagnosed with Endometriosis, after 1 year of trying to get pregnant without success. Since then, our life has been a constant struggle between surgery, exams and consultations and a lot of hope of being able to become parents!
After 2 years of surviving this whole routine, to move on to the last treatment to perform IVF, in March this year we made our first attempt but unfortunately the result was negative, we will have to wait another year on the public hospital waiting list, It's a fight that seems to have no end. Another year of anguish, anxiety and hope, of course. We then decided to get in touch with a private clinic in our area and realized that we would be able to achieve our dream in less time and with another more specialized service centered on us, where we can improve our emotional state as well.

Budget and due dates

We leave the email below, which we received from a clinic we contacted, here in our area with the idea of the price of In vitro Fertilization and what is included in that price.
Then to add, it is the medication (which in this first attempt we spent €516), so we think it will be around that amount, plus the consultations that are paid separately and the exams too.
Thank you very much for all the help you can give, as this prevents us from having to take out a loan (the interest rates are very high) and we don't have any family members who can help us :(
