In this #GivingTuesday, help VSF-Portugal fund veterinary missions in developing countries! Your support will allow us to continue developing actions for population control, zoonotic diseases and vaccination.

VSF-Portugal is once again present in the worldwide solidarity movement #GivingTuesday!

This year we ask everyone to help us continue to fund the displacement of volunteers and the necessary material for the veterinary missions in which we participate.

VSF-Portugal volunteers regularly travel to countries such as Cape Verde, São Tomé and Príncipe and Angola to provide veterinary care in partnership with local associations. The costs of veterinary intervention are high and we depend on funding and donations to continue our work.

We act mainly according to the concept of "One health", by taking care of the animals' health, we are taking care of the people who live with them!

About the author

Veterinários Sem Fronteiras Portugal is an NGO, part of the VSF-International network. The activity of VSF-Portugal is strongly based on the concept of One Health, with our mission being oriented towards the promotion of human and global health through animal health, mainly through the prevention and control of zoonotic diseases, education of populations for a good relationship between men and women. animal, population control, always ensuring conditions of well-being, and also through projects for the development of sustainable livestock production.

Budget and due dates

The missions carried out by VSF-Portugal have costs associated with the travel and accommodation of volunteers, veterinary material (surgical and nursing), medicines and facilities. We intend to use the amount raised in this campaign in the missions we are planning for 2022.
