Meste Né - Fees paymant of a Master Degree

"The Actor Training as part of Stroke Patient Recovery " is the theme of my Master's thesis. I intend , with this crowdfunding , pay my fees in order to share the results with you.

At the moment I am enrolled at a masters program at ESAD Escola Superior de Artes e Design. My family has not been supportive of this study program but I am determined to complete it.  

At the moment I survive on a meagre income (a 230€  pension + 200€, the wage of 11 hours of teaching a week). It requires great effort to live on such a low income. The teachers at my masters program have supported me in my determination to complete the program. For my Master's Dissertation I am writing about the uses of actor training techniques for the recovery of stroke patients. I believe that the coordination, spatial awareness as well as the emotional aspects can benefit from acting exercises. 

About the author

Daniela Reis is a drama teacher for children and elders. 
I have suffered a stroke right at the end of my BA in acting, I was 21. By then I had been awarded a grant for a summer school at LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art) — a course for which I was already enrolled. The basic recovery took two years. I had to relearn how to talk, read, walk, write. I am now an autonomous person, in spite of a minor motor, and visual impairments. I have been very active in job searching and kept with the same passion for studying I always ha — I am now enrolled in  a master's degree. It has not been easy to find work in Portugal at the present moment.

Budget and due dates

From 05 to 25 June: 40% of the value (484€)

From 26 June to 20 July: 60% of the value (726€)
