Support for one of the Houses of the Acreditar Association for a year, creating a future reference for crowdfunding in social solidarity initiatives
We welcome this idea within the scope of the Ethics and Social Sustainability course of the ISCTE Executive Education program. The objective is to support one of the Houses of the Acreditar Association, for one year, through the alumni network and the crowdfunding tools.
Since 1994, the Acreditar association faces the dynamics that childhood cancer imposes in the best possible way, trying to provide everyone with the certainty of support in a time of uncertainty. This support and affection unfolds from Casas da Acreditar, in hospitals or at home, with the aim of providing quality of life to young patients and their families:
- Twenty-five years supporting ten thousand families in Lisbon, Coimbra, Porto and Funchal, where the country's specialized pediatric oncology hospitals are located.
- Focus: children and young people up to 25 years old, and their families at all times of the disease.
- Where: at Casas da Acreditar, in hospitals, at home, supporting emotional, logistical, social or other plans that families need.
We want to contribute and decided on our goal: to raise € 15,000 to ensure one year of operation in one of the rooms at Casa da Acreditar - the possibility of feeling affection, sharing and support in the battle against an oncological disease.
We are counting on your help, because all contributions are welcome to help someone to BELIEVE!
