"What if showing solutions and telling a positive story was the best way to address the ecological, economic and social challenges the world is facing today?" Demain, 2015
[FR]
Inspired by the French documentary "Demain", we decided to embark on a journey looking for people and initiatives in Portugal working daily towards a more sustainable future.
Tired of constant news about the urgency of climate change, we decided to hit the road to raise awareness in society on the issue. The goal was to unite politicians and citizens to create a genuine sustainability movement.
This is how our project was born!
A documentary series that will introduce several projects in Portugal exploring topics related to sustainability.
But we don’t want to make yet another documentary focused on all the issues we are facing globally. We seek a positive approach, focusing on good examples already out there or the people implementing viable alternatives for the near future. And we want to reach them in the most sustainable way possible (bicycle, public transportation, electrical vehicles) raising awareness of the importance of rethinking mobility and the current energy system.
Let's gather all these examples and show how our world of tomorrow can be, today!

Budget and due dates
During the project’s first phase, from November to April, we will map all the initiatives, projects and people in Portugal linked to sustainability. We will then start a journey across the country throughout May and June to film several selected projects. We expect to have the documentary ready by autumn 2019.
The dream of making this documentary began to take form with first funding support from AMI’s international programme "No PLANet B". We are still short in part of the budget and why we need your help. This crowdfunding aims to cover:
- Filming gear;
- Communication management - strategy and social networks;
- Basic costs for the launching event and crowdsourcing campaign - happening in mid-January in Lisbon.
