Save a Life, Save an Animal Help Afectu

We are Afectu! Founded in 2000, is an Animal Rescue association located in Aveiro-Portugal that as a mission to rescue animals abandoned, neglected or victims of human cruelty. This association is trying to improve current installations of the shelter for the animals, to protect the food and provide the best well cared for these lovely animals. Afectu is a non-profit association created em 2000 with the purpose of defend Animals, neglected, abandoned and victims of poor care by providing  better quality of life, shelter, and ultimately finding a home for them. This association lives from the help of volunteers, donation and above all is a non-profit. During the year, fundraising drives are made with one purpose to help the ones in need.

Currently this shelter is in dire need of food, building materials, and medication and money to pay for veterinarian bills. The situation has complicated recently because due to expenses, the animal care is done are at very minimal but all the animal are cared for. The shelter also needs, blankets, beds and medication to treat a high number of sick animals.

The current vet bills is estimated to be around 5000 euros. Along with the shelter, we also provide sterilization of cats and dogs in order to control the pet population and better their quality of life.

We would like to ask for you help, to create a better space, a shelter were they can have more play area, clean and disease free environment for the people that visit the shelter and also for the ones that life their often for longer than a year. Please help us achieve our goal! Let us help the ones that can speak but have feelings and above all make us all responsible for them. Thank You!

Sobre o promotor

 This project is collaboration and team effort by the members of the Afectu Association. Everyday after leaving their jobs, different volunteers go to the shelter to help feed the animals and help resident volunteer get everything done for the dogs. This is a huge sacrifice that everyday 365 days needs to be done but its all about Love and dedication for them.  We also want to share more pictures of the last CaoVivio to raise awareness for adoption of our shelter Animals. We are Afectu! Orçamento e Calendarização

Currently the association struggles to meet its financial needs, with food for the animals, medications and veterinarian bills. The association is in dire need of some assistance so that it can survive and continue to provide care for the animals. Due date could be 60 days. The association needs these funds urgently.
