The current van of the Associação Aid a Feeda Dogs is very old, which has made the rescues very difficult. This year he went to the workshop 8 times. Lately, the situation has worsened much more and we are without means of transport.
We do not want the work of the Aid to Feed Dogs Association to stop. To continue, we need the means and conditions to do so.
The Associação Aid a Alimentar Cão recently received a generous donation from a company that prefers to remain anonymous in order to be able to buy a new van. We are missing € 5,780 to reach the full amount.
The functioning of any Association requires daily and monthly means to be able to have the minimum of quality.
The Association Helps to Feed Dogs every day travels all over the Island and without a means of transport it is impossible to continue our work.
AAC does not count and never counted on any State support.
We therefore appeal to your support and generosity. We need you to support this campaign. If each person donates what they can, we will be able to achieve our goal.

About the author
Associação Aid a Feeda Dogs is a non-profit association based in Madeira Island that rescues animals that are victims of abuse.
Around the year 2003, a 14-year-old girl, Mariana Nóbrega, continued to appeal since she was a little girl that she felt for the misery of stray animals, welcoming a street canid in the home of her parents, with whom at the time she still lived. And this canid was followed by another, and later another, until later, around 2013, already having difficulty feeding more than a dozen animals, he created a page on the social network facebook called "Ajuda a Alimentar" Dogs ", with the sole purpose, at that time, of obtaining food for the dogs he had collected - hence the name adopted. From the outset, the acceptance was very great, obtaining the food he needed and some donations in cash, which allowed him to extend his help to many other animals with the most varied type of needs. With the growth of work, and the demand on the part of the most diverse administrative entities in the existence of an association legally created as the only way to be able to participate, in some way, in the supply of the deficiencies felt in the provision of that same help made to the animals of rua da Região Autónoma da Madeira, the name "AAAC - Associação Ajuda a Alimentar Cachorros" (Association for the Feeding Dogs) was created by a deed held on November 11, 2014 at the Notary Office of the notary Susana Lopes Teixeira Zino, in Funchal. for profit, with NIPC 513 280 510, having as object in article 3, nº 1 of its statutes "Fight for the rights and the animal welfare".
