UNCUT

If we look at the successful people in history, they all had to take risks. UNCUT, my project, will see the light of day, because I believe in my work, I believe that we have to take risks, pursue goals and dreams.

The idea of this photography book, entirely dedicated to Trail, and to the athletes who practice this modality, has been idealized for some time, because I always wanted to have a compilation of my best records, some known, others not so much and others that no one has ever seen. .

In addition to the photos, this book will also include a set of testimonies, evidence of life and overcoming, testimonies that will make us think that it is urgent to believe in ourselves, it is necessary to suffer when necessary and that we are capable (if we want to) to overcome all adversities to achieve our goals.

UNCUT, it will have 3 chapters or whatever we want to call it.

Were invited to write these testimonies, some well-known names that in one way or another are linked to the Trail and that came to give a touch of excellence to this work.

The UNCUT book will be a unique hardcover book, consisting of 176 pages in 20x30cm format, 170g matte coated paper, where the photos come to life from the first to the last page and where these texts will be, whose reading will be mandatory for who lives this sport and not only.

A job that will only be viable if I manage to reach a minimum order of 150 books .

About the author

My name is João Delgado, I am 50 years old. I am married, I have 2 children and I am from Tete, Mozambique.

At the moment, in addition to my work in the Education sector, I am also completing my Degree in Human Resources Management and Organizational Behavior at the Polytechnic Institute of Tomar.

In my “spare” hours, I have photography as a hobby and great passion.

I've been doing photography for about 14 years now, and I'm upgrading the necessary material depending on the evolution and learning I'm acquiring, and that every day presents me with something new and incredibly fascinating.

I bet on quality, creativity and spontaneity to capture every moment, emotion and detail.

Each photographic work is unique, deeper than the simple capture of images.

I always intend to establish a relationship from the beginning to the end of the work and, while that is the case, I am sure that the photographs will always have a story to tell.

This book, in addition to showing unique images, in addition to showing all the insight to obtain them, which many go unnoticed, will also help in the recognition of the work that I have been producing, namely in the Trail, in the last 5 years and which I intend that have continuity and, above all, that it is of great quality and that it is a route for other flights.

Criticism turns out to be a very important factor, so that with each work it is possible to always achieve a little more. The limit is excellence. Good or bad reviews are always welcome.

I intend to reach new heights, with this book being a way to show all the evolution over more than a decade dedicated to photography. It will also serve to leverage my image and professionalism in an area where vision and gaze are the main tool.

Budget and due dates

The intended value corresponds to the production of a first edition of 300 copies of the UNCUT book that can be acquired through several different options (see sidebar).

All those who contribute will have their name published in the list of crowdfunding supporters

To see the project viable, I need to ensure the purchase of at least 150 books.

Scheduling :

1st phase) 14th of November: Beginning of the project's dissemination on social networks.

Start of the PPL, promotion and dissemination of the link for orders.

2nd phase) Until December 31: Arrive at least 150 orders in order to proceed with the printing of the book, which takes approximately 3 weeks to produce.

3rd phase) December 31: PPL ended.

4th phase) January 15th to February 15th: Period for sending books by mail, delivering them by hand, in person and/or using the predefined collection points.
