We are a fashion brand that allows consumers to create the clothes as they wish, among the available options. Interactive collections consisting of modular garments.
We are a women's fashion brand that allows the consumer to create the garment as desired, among the available options. It will essentially be an interactive annual collection consisting of modular garments (blouses, skirts and kimonos).
We were planning this project for a while so this year the project was selected to participate in the AYCH Program together with the Santo Tirso City Council. There was a great opportunity to develop it through incubation at the Santo Tirso Factory. There has been a lot of progress in the business plan during the incubation, and now that the Progam is over it's time to get your hands dirty! The collection for the year 2020 is already designed and modeling is under development.
WHAT IS NECESSARY
What is missing (and most importantly) is getting a web design company that can bring life and create the website. This is crucial since sales will initially be via e-commerce, and because the brand makes it possible to create clothing through different parts , the website is really important for it to translate into the "soul" of the brand and yet all customization features.
We already have a studio space, but we still lack some specific resources for the brand, such as graphic material, packaging, inputs for production development and investment in marketing and advertising.
WHY CHOOSE SEREO?
We believe this online shopping format can be revolutionary as the main motivation for creating this brand is sustainability. Enabling the customer to co-create their garment along with the brand makes the garment more loved, and together with textile waste sourced from the local textile industry, plus craft production, make the brand reduce your environmental footprint considerably, going against the fast fashion movement. We are notably a slow fashion brand, and we all just have to benefit from it all.

FUN FACT: where the brand´s name came from?
The name Sereo comes from BEING ME (in Portuguese means SER EU). At the time of developing a name for the brand (I confess I can't even remember why) but it came to my mind that once I was complaining because an outfit didn't fit me well, I said: “this is the problem of being me. ” Then it gave me a click and I knew the brand name should be SEREO. Because being me shouldn't be a problem, it's just the opposite, it's the solution! To be me is to be unique. And it totally meets the brand philosophy, which is one of uniqueness and personalization, valuing myself.
