Season Your Life - a game to make healthy and diversified meals

With Season your life cooking and eating healthy doesn’t have to be boring!

It’s very easy to repeat the same meal over and over. Whether for dinner, or for lunch, on the day-to-day rush it’s difficult to cook different and balanced meals.  And it’s even more difficult to remember all the recommendations when we are buying the ingredients. The truth is that although there is a big concern about having a healthy lifestyle, we end up choosing the same ingredients and preparing a limited range of different meals.

With Season your life cooking and eating healthy doesn’t have to be boring! 

Season your life is a dice game that, by choosing local, seasonal food will help you and your family enjoy fruit and veg that tastes better, is better value and is better for the planet. Let the seasons tell you what to eat!

What is Season Your Life?

• 22 digitally printed dice with 6 food elements each. Four (4) primary dice (meat, fish, other proteins and carbohydrates) and 12 standard seasonal dices (soup, vegetables and dessert/fruit and 5 extra dice for fruits and vegetables (depends on the season) in order to increase the number of vegetables and fruits you can choose from.

• For each season – (Fall, Winter, Spring and Summer) there are 3 different dice according to local, seasonal availability.  This will always make sure that you select and buy seasonal ingredients so that your family enjoys fruit and veg that tastes better, is better value and is better for the planet.

• The dice have a range of ingredients which cover the common ones and others to experience new flavours.

• Over 40 000 combinations per season (without taking in account the extra ones) to enhance your creativity in the kitchen.

• The dice are digitally printed on coloured wood. The colour indicates a group of different ingredients and the size is for the proportion on your plate.

Just pick the primary and season dices shake and roll the dice! Select one of the protein dices and go. Do it before the meal or when you finish your meal.

This way you will plan ahead and shopping will be easier and more efficient. And why not try a farmers’ market for a change?

All materials used in the production of Season Your Life can be recycled or reused. Our goal is to produce our first industrial sets of the game.

Furthermore, this step will give us the chance to take, afterwards, a bigger step and produce the Season Your life also in French, German and Braille. We also want to use certified wood and paper products coming from responsibly managed forests.
