Mili'Artes collaborative store

I intend to take more and value what we have more value in our country - Crafts and the best Portuguese products. Come with me to help artists and producers spread their work and bring people the best we have.

The concept of a collaborative store is a store made up of diverse spaces (cubes, shelves and other exhibitors) that function as mini-stores inside. These spaces are rented to different creatives (from artisans, decorators, designers, artists and stylists) who find an affordable way to sell, show and promote their creations and brands at very low prices, the price is the artisan's without any commission.

The store has the responsibility of management and disclosure, while the author has the possibility to decorate and arrange the space leased to his liking.

Mili'Artes intends to acquire a physical space in Almada, as well as all its components for exhibition (shelves, blocks and exhibitors) for the creative ones and I will be able to expose our works.

Mili`Artes will also have the slope of workshops and tasting of regional and national products.

About the author

Mili'Artes believes that it can change the vision of many people regarding what is the Portuguese craftsmanship, how it is done, how much time is spent to do it, where it is done and who does it. I want with this project to show that many of the Portuguese producers are quite good and have a magnificent job that can be within reach of anyone.

Joana Rebelo Farinha - Author of the Project - Very creative person, who takes the imagination beyond. Has the 12th year in Auxiliary Technique of Childhood. She has been working in schools, kindergartens and pharmacies since she was 18, but she saw her vocation when she was unemployed and clung to the felt, beginning to construct with her hands felt books with children's activities and stories with fingertips (finger puppets ), Where children could play, play, feel and tell stories with their imagination. Books that promote the development of fine motor skills as well as help work reasoning and logic in a fun way. Since then she has followed her dream, now wanting to take it further, so that she can show and do her work so that more people see and appreciate Portuguese crafts and products.

With this store I will be able to make and show my books, and people can touch, feel and see live, thus making them reach more people. And nothing better than this concept, because opening a store just to make and sell my books is unbearable and with the Collaborative Store I will be able to promote my work and that of many other artists, sharing space, sharing ideas, making society possible between partners in a simple way.
