Recording and release of Re-Verso's first EP

The purpose of this campaign is to raise funds for the recording and release of Re-Verso's first EP.

 Re-Verso are an emerging band from Portugal, whose songs combine elements of Pop,Rock and Folk music with lyrics by some of Portugal's most proeminent poets such as Fernando Pessoa and Miguel Torga.

 Nuno Ferreira (vocals, guitar), João Custódio (bass) and João Rijo (drums) are longtime musical collaborators and friends, having shared the stage in various different bands and a wide range of musical settings for the past 12 years.

 "We're about to record and release Re-Verso's first EP, and to finance it we created this crowdfunding campaign - We need our friends' and fans' support! - we offer several tiers of investment with various rewards.We believe this campaign will bring us closer to those interested in our music, saving time in the recording and release process and avoiding unnecessary intermediaries.

The EP will be recorded in November at Vale de Lobos recording studio. Pedro Vidal will be responsible for the recording and mixing, the cover and artwork by Patrícia Proença Design and the photos and video updates will be by João Ferreira/Agência Musa.The EP will be released in January 2016."

About the author

Nuno Ferreira was born in Portugal in 1975.

He began studying music at 8 years old. In 2000 he received his BFA in Jazz performance at the New School Jazz and contemporary Music program, in New York.

He released four albums of original compositions and performed extensively in Jazz festivals, clubs and concert halls in Portugal, Spain, USA, France, Italy, Luxembourg, Denmark,Germany and China.

Alongside his career as a Jazz musician, he has worked in diverse musical styles as a guitar player, performer, arranger, lyricist and composer and is widely considered as one of the foremost music educators in Portugal, having taught at ESMAE (Oporto superior school of Music and performing Arts) since 2003.
