As a scientist, I want to help people and provide them a better quality of life. I want to enroll this course to guarantee than I can give a secure medicine to people that need it the most.
I am not a hidden scientist behind the bench, with a lot of tubes, as it is described on social media. I am the kind of scientist that is always thinking about people welfare, to develop new, better and more effective treatments to provide people a better quality of life.
However, the "magical formula" is not that easy. Before reaching the market, it is required to guarantee the safety of this drug. Nowadays, there is a lot of bureaucracy that is required to take care before taking a medicine.
There is this course in Portugal that trains health professionals to this issues (https://www.pharma-academy.pt/mfic.html#header3-b6); this professionals will work close to the industry to give people a effective and safe medicine. I am the scientist who wants to receive smiles when someone is being cure, and when someone has improved their quality of life.
This project aims to complement my studies, to become a better professional and give me the opportunity to work closer to people.
Apart from a happy population, I will be a happy scientist!
