European Cultural Center invited Sofia Leitão & Henry Nesbitt to participate at “Personal Structures 2019” exhibition, during the 6 months along with La Biennale di Venezia 2019 that are asking the artists to raise funds for the six month exhibition cost. We need your financial support to make this dream come thrue.
we are presenting our audio installation at Personal Structures 2019 exhibition using wood tree pieces, strategically suspended in the air and orgamazer in the floor floor, two lateral walls painted in black and a white wall with Sofia’s 3 dimensional collage painting. An audio speaker hidden within the wood installation. The tridimensional painting dimensions are 130 cm by 180 cm, with a 4 mm thickness acrylic frame and 5 to 12 cm depth, the frame has the same size as the painting. The sound equipment used is one bluetooth speaker, a audio player and audio sequence in loop, synchronized via bluetooth with the speaker. Henry Nesbitt will produce an audio sequence of approximately 5 minutes, using recorded sound effects, allowing the public the experience of traveling in time and space within the installation and Sofia Leitão painting subject and theme.
The installation presentation will be at Palazzo Mora, space 3H in the 3rd floor, in Venice, Personal Structures 2019 collective exhibition is part of La Biennale Di Venezia 2019, open to the public during six months between from 9th May 2019 to 24th November 2019.
