This campaign is being launched by the Clube Desportivo da Escola Gil Eanes, a Lagos-Algarve Women's Handball Club. Recently we lost "our" Nelma # 16 (18-year-old athlete), an incredible story of STRENGTH and WILL to WIN that touched us all in a very special way.
It is still very difficult for all of us to talk about this story of courage, but we would like to pay tribute to "our" Nelma # 16, we want our mascot Loba # 16 to be in her honor. The story of Nelma's struggle coincided with the emergence of our image of Club as pack, as wolfs, our phrase "THE POWER OF THE WOLF IS IN THE PACK AND THE STRENGTH OF THE PACK IS IN THE WOLF", was created and felted for "our "Nelma # 16.

Clube Desportivo da Escola Secundária Gil Eanes, a Women's Handball Club in Lagos - Algarve.
A Club with currently more than 100 female athletes, is the largest Club in the Algarve, and one of the largest in Portugal (in the female gender).
It was once a Champion Club, it even won the title of National Champion in the category of Senior Women, currently aims to become a Champion Club again. We bet on the training of young athletes through the development project carried out until 2020 where our Women's Handball Training School is the center of the project.
We want Lagos again as a reference Council of Women's Handball.
Budget and due dates
The budget was requested to a company to produce the mascot, the amount is stipulated in the € 2500 plus IVA which will be € 3075. We also have expenses of base costs for the realization of this campaign PPL (required by the PPL itself) which translates into a value of 3305 €. If there is any slippage in the amount requested, the Club will assume and place the missing value.
