This Christmas we want to provide a truly happy time for the young people of Casa dos Rapazes by renovating their rooms.
Currently, our young people's rooms only have beds, which are already old, and small closets, which are not enough for them to store all their belongings. They are functional spaces, but a little cold, impersonal. We want to transform them into rooms for children and serious young people. We wanted each boy to have a space that he could call his own, with age-appropriate decor that was functional and durable over time.
This Christmas we want to ask for your help to make this season a truly happy time at Casa dos Rapazes, we need to raise funds to renovate these boys' rooms, so that they can really feel at home with their space and their things.
We all know how important our rooms were when we were younger, and now is the right time to turn these rooms into real rooms where they feel good.
These are small gestures that make a monumental difference in the lives and confidence of these children and adolescents.

About the author
Casa dos Rapazes is a century-old IPSS with a social response of a childhood and youth home, which welcomes children and young men between 6 and 18 years old, who had to leave their family environment for different reasons that put them in danger.
Our mission is to design and implement a life project adjusted to the needs of each Boy, through his individual appreciation, with the aim of family and social integration, tending to autonomy and the construction of a life with full dignity.
Casa dos Rapazes is much more than the walls that support it, the furniture that make it beautiful, it is made of stories, many stories, moments at the table, smiles, laughter, games, fears, crying , of frustrations, of insomnia, of crises, of conquests, of Relationships, of Hugs, of families, of memories that are kept and that make it made of so much, of Life!
The starting and returning point, the place where we belong and where we feel Home, where every Boy has the opportunity to Be!

What we need to buy:
- 18 beds
- 18 bedside tables
- 18 cabinets
- 18 bedside table lamps
- Decorative elements for the rooms
- White paint and paint supplies
All material donated to us will be deducted from the total amount and, if the amount raised exceeds the objective, we will use the money to improve another division of the House.
