Busf Portugal, carries out national and international missions, being a partner of the UN and recognized as an OVPC by Civil Protection. We are normal people doing extraordinary things in the most vulnerable regions of the world. Help us to Help! Our first international work and with the Angolan Fire Service in sub-Saharan Africa, also called Black Africa - "Cradle of Humanity", to adapt and train new equipment, materials, processes, methods and protocols, this mission having lasted four years in 2009. We want to help a lot more.
About the author
The Firefighters United Without Borders Organization - BUSF, was created on January 1, 2005 and emerged from the initiative of a group of professionals in response to Brazilian emergencies, who decided to unite to organize an institution that had the responsibility to contribute with labor specialized and professional in situations of major disasters with the agencies and governments of Brazil and other countries.
Our organization is made up of professionals from different sectors of society involved in the area of emergency care, as well as other professionals from various, technical sectors who share basic precepts with a focus on human dignity. The motivations of our members to join BUSF and its other delegations BRAZIL, PORTUGAL, CAPE VERDE and SÃO TOMÉ E PRÍNCIPE, SPAIN, CHILE, ARGENTINA, BOLIVIA, ENGLAND, JAPAN, SWITZERLAND and INDIA, countries where we are represented today, are varied, personal and punctual, having as its main pillar the belief that training and experience can contribute to disaster situations and the development of a network of institutions to respond to major fires and to respond to major catastrophes.
