Do you have a dream that you would love to see come true? We have! We are 12 elderly people, who despite being over 80 years old still have a lot to live for and dreams to come true! As young people say… not even the sky is the limit so we would love to tell you ours! A few weeks ago we received a letter… Can you guess from whom? From the Pope!! Isn't it that the Holy Father invited us to visit him at his house in the Vatican to be blessed and drink tea and wine? It's true, we didn't even want to believe it! For this we really need your help, as you know, to get there there is a long way that we cannot go alone, so we want to appeal to a real miracle and ask you to help us monetarily within your means! Today they help us and we are sure that one day they will help you!

The Parish Social Center of Pousos is a Private Social Solidarity Institution founded in 1981. In our Children's Center we support children in the social response of daycare and preschool. At the Senior Center, we support the older population in the responses of ERPI - Residential Structure for Elderly People, SAD - Home Support Service, Day Center and Social Center. More recently, the Senior Academy has emerged, aimed at people aged 50 and over.
The mission of the CSPP is:
Provide social support in the area of Children and Senior Citizens, providing services/answers that promote the well-being and quality of life of children and the elderly, family members and legal guardians.
Budget and due dates
We have a budget, with controlled costs, which are around €960 per person (bus transfers, plane, affordable accommodation, food for 4 days). At the moment we are short of €6000 so that we can guarantee the 12 elderly people to go.
The deadline for raising this amount until May 31, 2022.
All the remaining amount raised in addition to that described in the previous items will be channeled to the continuation of the realization of dreams of users of the Centro Social Paroquial dos Pousos.
