Solidary Children's Book - Objective To help the non-profit animal rescue and protection community Focinhos D'Ouro de Tarouca

Kiko and the Order of Cats: Mara Silva wrote and I, Ilda Oliveira illustrated. This sympathetic book aims to help the Snouts D'Ouro. An animal welfare community that operates in stray animal colonies by feeding them, providing them with veterinary care, sterilizing and referring them to responsible adopters. But the difficulties are getting bigger and the expenses with the vet increase making its mission more difficult.

We want to alleviate the problem of this community a little. As it said "Mother Teresa of Calcutta", It will be a drop in the Ocean ... But without it the Ocean will be smaller ...

Support this initiative by helping to publish this book that is a playful focus on the problem of stray animals, the recipe of which will be entirely for Focinhos D'Ouro.

About the author

Mara Alexandra Silva, born in Tarouca, Master of Medical Physics. He wrote the story " Kiko and the Order of Cats" in honor of his kitten. A Siamese cat with big blue eyes that left no one indifferent. Friend and travel companion during your student time at Porto college. With this story I wanted to focus in a playful way on the problem of the abandonment of animals and the dream of seeing all stray animals living in perfect harmony with humans and the environment. With this sympathetic book intends to alleviate the suffering of animals by helping the cause Focinhos d'Ouro.

Ilda Oliveira from Tarouca, Secretariat Technician, unemployed. An advocate of the whole animal cause, she has a hobby in her handicrafts and, although amateur, has illustrated this book to give it color and more realism.
