Our school raises food for distribution to the most needy families in the parish. This campaign will serve to finance these food goods by making the fundraising more digital and less physical.
This campaign is an integral part of the school's educational project (where the voluntary and solidary character of the school is clearly marked) and takes place at Christmas. The campaign is called "IVS Mais Solidário". The area of influence of our school and the families we help have their physical space in one of the areas most affected by fires and with some profound social problems.
This year, with the pandemic context we are experiencing, we decided to make this campaign more "digital" by reducing the physical contact inherent in the way food was delivered.

The Vaz Serra Institute is a "school with a past turned to the future". A school with a mentality of school and social proximity where the connection between all elements of the school community is huge and is the strategic basis of the educational project.
At the Vaz Serra Institute, each student "counts" and their school development is integrated into the individual and group perspective.
Our school is the driving force of the entire parish of Cernache do Bonjardim, in particular, and the municipality of Sertã in general. It is an integral base for the defense and implementation of social causes.
