The installation of solar panels on the School of Binte will allow the community to keep on working on the fields during the day and attending the literacy courses during the evenings.
The school EBU de Binte is situated in Carache Island at tabanca de Binte and it was built in 2008. Benefits 58 students, in two separate classrooms and they come from two different tabancas - Binte and Cutcham. This school is the outcome of the community's will in creating conditions for the children to study primary school, which is their right by law. But this place isn't exclusively for infants. Installing solar panels at the school, allows the school to have light during the night which will ensure night alphabetization classes to field workers who work throughout the day. The solar panels in addition to be a sustainable green energy, will assure a bigger comfort to the students that'll going to be able to study at night.
