Corações de Roda: offer yoga classes, meditation and mandalas to families in prolonged disease context, supporting the displaced family.
The Corações de Roda Project is a multidisciplinary, nonprofit project, which uses a pioneering methodology in Portugal, integrating yoga, meditation, painting of mandalas with children and parents.
We want this campaign to support the families of children with long-term illnesses subject to hospital treatment, supporting their families in emotional management promoting their well-being and their children.
The main benefits of this activity are to provide an increase in self-esteem, concentration and improve interpersonal relationships.
Through these activities, we aim to reach the emotional balance of these families, dissolving conflicts, and emotions of his unconscious.
As a first step we want to achieve the Lisbon and later we plan to extend to the area of the Grand Harbour. This activity is being developed in schools, events, and workshops.
We believe with our hearts, we will help children and their families to become more self-confident, more accomplished. Happier!
With the value they have raised in this campaign we will be able to finance: 10 regular workshops with these displaced families;
