Fighting distemper outbreak in União Zoófila

The União Zoófila, an association for the defense, protection and treatment of domestic animals at risk, need urgent help!

17 dogs care of União Zoófila (UZ) are currently in fight against opportunistic infections associated with distemper virus.

To help them in this fight is necessary:

- Intestinal feed (Royal Canin and Hill's)

- Fortiflora (Purina)

- Lasa (sold in pharmacies)

- Corpet

- Bleaching

- Rapid tests distemper, injectable antibiotics, anti-inflammatories

With this campaign intend to acquire sufient to buy the listed products and donate them as soon as possible to UZ. Alone could not give more than a few kilograms of feed, but I know that together we will get more ... and every single euro will make the difference.

I do not intend to donate simply money, but the products. Everything will be bought in online stores and sent directly to the address of the association. I'll try that shipping costs are free, so there is no "waste".

I've always been surrended by dogs, from the house of my parents or grandparents. Recently adopted one that has given me some expense and concerns, but above all loyalty, attention, affection and a lot of compassion. It is in this spirit that I intend to help others. They are now in the UZ, but could be others. This time I need help to be able to help and will not give up.

Budget and due dates

The budget required for two weeks of feed is:

• intestinal feed (Royal Canin) 6 x 14Kg - € 395.97

(17 dogs to eat 350gr of feed on average per day, gives 5,95kg. During two weeks gives 83,3kg.)

Reinforcements for the immune system and the gut flora is:

• Fortiflora 30 sachets - € 31.5 * 2 = 63 €
• Corpet 90 comp. - € 24 * 2 = 48 €
