Our campaign consists recollecting donations construction remoddeling our (little house) and getting it prettier. Those funds will also be used small trips available to all children.
WHAT WE DO IN "CASALINHO" (OUR NEIGHBORHOOD)?
What we do in "CASALINHO" is to come here, share our life with those leaving here. Give a little of our time making part of this community.
On saturday, we pray, study together, prepare our meals, sit together, we play, walk and takes our bike tours.
In the afternoon, we have catechism with children with different ages. Then we organise several groups in a very open way, so that it allow an adequate conversation. Though there are some rooms wich do not have conditions and the smaller group doesn't have its own room.
The others rooms nerd a lot remodeling.
The WC also needs a lot remodeling, a shed to the courtyard.

My name is Carla Pinto i'm a volunteer at "little house" and our lider is Miguel Tristany..
We work at "little house" temporarily ceded by the parish and survives with financial problems.
Our team is mainly young people all vollunteers and four adults providing with catechism, helping and supported in trips and study, for wich we don't always have funds.
In 2011, a group of five friends started an educational project with the children of Casalinho da Ajuda in Lisbon. Today seven years later, we are approximately 20 vollunteers who work in a house granted by the parish in the neighborhood.
The main ideaof this project is to create a space of encounter with the children and their families from where personal relations are developed, involving schools and families In the time spent together typically at weekends the proposition lays mostly on the participation in study rooms, group, religious instruction, music and plastic arts, exploration of the cultural heritage of the city. Aparte from this each volunteer is responsible for one or two children and in a specific formative work frame, follows schools activities and opens space for a personal relationship, beyond the physical boundaries of the neighborhood allowing the children to make acquaintance with other realities and positive experientes with educational vale.
Budget and due dates
We would like to raise 3000 € for daily expenses in "little house" at Casalinho da Ajuda. All donations collected are used to support directing expenses related with educational work, matterials, food, travelling...
