Plagiocephaly (from the Greek plagio: obliquo and kephale: head) means the asymmetry of the cranial perimeter, usually with symmetrical or asymmetrical occipital planning, called “positional or postural plagiocephaly” (PP). The head can adopt parallelogram or trapezoidal configuration. An infant's skull has great plasticity and is not rigid, so it is not difficult to see how sensitive it is to external pressure forces. During the birth canal crossing, the newborn's skull suffers significant transient deformities, thus making its crossing possible. Regardless, other external forces, postnatal or even prenatal, can cause not so transient skull deformation. SO if this is not resolved the head and parts of the face when growing up were definitely deformed, with no possibility to change it later.
