Group of biker friends intend to raise the amount of 600 € to be delivered to Associação Bebés São João to acquire 10 carrycots to be delivered to 10 needy families unbelieved in the social plan.
Bebés de São João is a Motherhood Support Association that, in coordination with the Hospital Unit's social unit, exists to dignify and value motherhood by helping mothers and fathers to receive and raise their baby with love. They are also there to clarify mothers' doubts and improve their lives, giving a new layette to the baby born at the Hospital Center, ensuring that all newborns have the minimum levels of dignity to start their lives. They support the baby monthly through the supply of diapers, clothes and toiletries, annually they give an average of 1500 supports. We want to raise the value for the purchase of 10 baby carrycot.
About the author
We are a group of friends in love with motorbikes that we live in the city of Ermesinde. In our free time we are dedicated to the organization of motorcycle rides and recently conviviality. We organized the trip to Faro, Gois, Blessing of the helmets in Fatima, were present at the organization of the concentration Motard de Alfena, concentration of Classics in Ermesinde and the blessing of motorcycles in Valongo. We think we should do something for the community and as one of our staff is an employee at São João Hospital Center we decided together with the Alfena motorcycle club we want to help the Association that does so much to ensure that these newborns start their lives with the levels minimum of dignity.
Budget and due dates
We want to raise the amount of 600 € for the Association to acquire 10 carrycots to be delivered to 10 families enrolled in the social assistance plan. Santa's Motard Parade will take place on December 15th and we would like to hand over the value on that date so that the Association has time to hand over the artichokes to families before Christmas.
