The objective of this campaign is to complete 100 Baby Boxes for pregnant women and mothers of babies up to 2 years, the most vulnerable, in Mozambique.

The aim of this campaign is to obtain 100 Baby Boxes for mothers who are completing the APOIAR training in Maternal and Child Health and Nutrition (MAYI project). The delivery of a Baby Box at the end of each course is also a celebration for the acquisition of positive health behaviors - which contribute to the reduction of infant mortality in those communities.

About the author

APOIAR - Portuguese Association for the Support of Africa is a Portuguese NGO with 26 years of existence and multiple development projects implemented in Africa, with a focus on Mozambique since 2012. It works with pregnant women, mothers, babies, children and the entire community with the mission to contribute to breaking the cycle of absolute poverty in Mozambique, through projects in the structural areas of health, nutrition and education developed in the provinces of Niassa, Sofala and Maputo.
