" Help us to bring Christmas earlier this year to São Tomé and Príncipe"
The main goal with the "4M Príncipes" project is to collect goods such as clothing for adults and child, children's books and money, that will be converted to food and distributed by the various schools and institutions in São Tomé and Príncipe.
Everything that will be collected by 25 of June will be delivered personally in July this year by a group of volunteers who will be there in order to ensure effective distribution of everything.
About the author
Susana Teixeira has a degree in cookery and food production, she loves travelling and occasionally she participates in some volunteer work for short and long term. The latest cause in which she collaborated was building a new house for Ms. Isaura in partnership with the WB Foundation in São Tomé and one of the newest and longest was in 2013, in Guinea -. Bissau where she was doing volunteering work for 4 months in a kindergarten with children between 3 and 7 years old in partnership with the association "Afectos com Letras". After two trips to São Tomé and some conversations with people who live there or know the country she decided that this year would be the perfect time to create this project in an attempt to take some hapiness to its inhabitants , but for that your help is crucial to the success of this project.

Budget and due dates
The value designed for this campaign are 4000 euros which will be converted into material goods and foodstuffs to:
2 schools in Príncipe island (about 90 children);
Caritas - Casa dos pequeninos em São Tomé (they take care of about 25 children considered at risk between 3 months and 18 years);
Red Cross of São Tomé ( they cook 100 meals daily for old people);
AMBM of São Tomé (time to time they support about 50 families in extreme poverty).
For example 90 euros are enough to buy 50 bars of soap for AMDB, with 200 euros you can buy clothes for the children of the Casa dos pequeninos over a year, with EUR 400 children of both Príncipe schools can have access to books and supplies during a school year, 20 euros are enough to buy 30 kg of rice, the amount that Red Cross needs daily and with 114 euros you can buy 50 kgs of powdered milk to the Red Cross to serve for breakfast during a whole month.
When making your donation if you prefer you can choose the institution that you want to donate and which goods. For example, "I will donate 20 euros and I want that to be converted into beans for X institution"
At the end of the campaign will be made a list of all the amounts raised and we will proceed to its publication to follow this project step by step.
