This campaign was created by Académico FC's handball parents and managers and aims to get support to purchase sports equipment and game equipment for our AFC Handball.
Our club is one of the oldest institutions in the city of Porto and the only one with women's handball, and we are trying to raise support for the purchase of sports equipment for the next season in our competition and training teams.
Material is something that wears out and needs renovation. Balls, resins, vests and all the materials needed to get the most out of training.
In a phase of growth and the pursuit of improved sporting results where we will have clear goals to fight for the finals both at senior and senior level we would like to have everyone's support to achieve this improvement and offer our athletes everything they need. deserve it.
We need everyone's help to make this reality possible and to be able to make Académido Futebol Clube handball a reference.

The Academic Football Club was founded by a group of students from Alexandre Herculano High School on September 15, 1911.
Developed a policy of high eclecticism and was decisive in the history of launching the various modalities and, therefore, founding member of almost all Sports Associations of Porto and consequently the respective Federations.
It was also a precursor club in terms of its sports facilities, priding itself on having built the first grass pitch in Portugal. The Lima Stadium, which also has two tracks, one for cycling and one for athletics, was until the sixties one of the most publicized and used sports facilities in the country, complemented by two tennis courts, a skating rink and roller hockey. and a basketball court, being the first basketball court in the city, where the first international game was held on 24/05/1931 (Portugal - 9 France - 34).
Neither the loss of Estádio do Lima nor the relatively rapid evolution of sport to parameters of professional exploitation that the Academic decidedly had difficulty adopting were discouraging or impeding the pursuit of a club always proud of its past but above all very well focused on the role for which it was founded and the genetically pure values of the sporting cause.
The current pavilion of Lima has been the scene of endless uses, whether sports, cultural, political, leisure, religious, etc., is the oldest sports infrastructure of the city and the country.
The club has more than 100 titles at national level and the passage of several international athletes in their various modalities.
